Warrior Geezer

George Breed

The honorific title of “geezer” was conferred upon me by an irate man in emotional pain. Wanting to know the full meaning of my new status in the world, I went home and surfed the net for enlightenment. I found that “geezer” has its root meaning in guiser, one who is in disguise. I heartily embrace that definition. While the man who gave me the title meant it as an insult, he really gave me a blessing. As are we all, I am the universe in disguise. As a warrior geezer, I practice relentlessly, mindfully centering, compassionately opening and engaging life as it is this moment, while guised in this embodying.

You too can be a geezer! Age does not matter. Simply acknowledge that you are the universe embodying in this particular guise.
